Learning Circle: From Here to Equality

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Description

Join us for this 6-week learning circle as we explore the work of Dr. William Darity and Kirsten Mullen in "From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the 21st Century." We will listen to the 6-part podcast and talk about the ways policy and history in the United States have created the racial wealth gap and what we can do to create change. Participant can also read the book, one section per week. The reading is optional.

What is a Learning Circle?

A Learning Circle is a free, lightly facilitated group of learners coming together to achieve educational goals on a variety of topics. A Learning Circle is akin to a book group with a goal of exploring a new topic or skill.
