One Shot Wanderers : Roleplaying Games for Teens

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Description

Want to meet some new folks and play a single session of D&D without starting a year-long campaign? Ever wanted to try Savage Worlds, #iHunt, or one of those Forged in the Dark games, but can't get enough people together to try it? One Shot Wanderers is the program for you. We will meet on those enigmatic fifth Wednesdays that pop up in random months. And we will wander through different games, settings, and systems to tell our shared stories. Pregenerated characters will be used to allow more actual game time, especially on nights where we are learning how to play a new system.

Our first session will be a D&D 5E one-shot adventure. We will talk about where we next wander at the end of the program.

We will use Roll20.net and Zoom to bring our stories to life! All teens 14 – 18 are welcome, but space is limited. Please register with a valid email in order to receive an invite to the program.

This program will be provided by Mint Hill library staff, and is recommended for teens ages 14 to 18.

Please register by two days before the event. You’ll receive an email with a link to the secure Roll20 campaign and Discord channel about 24 hours before the meeting.
