Money Magnets: Making Beautiful Business

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Description

Money Magnets Club’s spring/summer 2022 programs continue this month! We’re excited to bring together audiences across the library system while highlighting our partnership with the West Boulevard and Allegra Westbrooks branches of the library in our “Best of the West” virtual series.

For our April program, we are thrilled to invite guest entrepreneur Ms. Ieesha of Sun’s Jewelry in our session entitled “Making Business Beautiful.” Ms. Ieesha has over 13 years of experience as a jeweler. She has a passion for making jewelry which she attributes to admiration of jewelry craftsmanship at a young age. Saving her money, she bought her first bead kit in High School. Honing her skills, she made jewelry as birthday gifts. After high school, Ieesha attended and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2015 with a Bachelors in Risk Management, Finance & Banking with a minor in Japanese. While in school, Ieesha made and sold jewelry in the university bookstore along with other vendors and quickly became the top seller. Today, Ieesha continues to design and craft jewelry, but has expanded this business into Charlotte, Huntersville, Mt. Holly, and York, SC. She looks forward to being able to employ others and lead jewelry sessions for those in the community.

Join us to explore how this multi-talented designer uses inspiration from natural elements to make beautiful pieces for adornment as a business endeavor. This workshop will also include a kit to make jewelry while supplies last. Pick up your jewelry kit and your Money Magnets box at West Boulevard Library or Allegra Westbrooks Library.

This program will be provided by West Blvd. and Allegra Westbrooks Regional library staff.
