[In-Person] Teen Chess & Board Games Club

Description

Teens and older preteens can come play chess or board games in this weekly casual gaming group. Playing chess and board games encourages cooperation, problem solving and strategic thinking skills. For chess, teens will learn chess basics, strategies, tactics and test their skills in 1-on-1 or group chess games. From beginners to ranked champions, all skill levels are welcome! For board games, teens can bring their own from home or the Library has a selection to choose from.

This program will be provided by South County library staff and volunteens, and is recommended for teens and preteens ages 10 to 18.

Information about this Group

This gaming club will meet every Wednesday from 5-7pm, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month which will be Beginner's Chess Club from 6-7pm. It also meets Saturdays 2-3pm.
