Attention Parents and Caregivers.... Block off your lunch hour to join us for a special Parent Lunch & Learn program just for you! You will have the opportunity to learn something new in a quick thirty-minute session led by a Library staff member, and then connect with other parents and caregivers. Parent Education improves mental health and well-being, improves parent-child interactions, and can increase social connections. Read below to learn about this week's program: 

National Reading Month: E-books and More
March is National Reading Month and Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is prepared to share one of our most accessible reading collections: Ebooks! Ebooks are perfect for busy parents, and amazing for our digitally savvy children as well! Ulonda Slaughter, Librarian, will share how to find, check out and download eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks, Digital Music, Videos & Movies from our digital collection. Parents will also learn how to connect your child's Library card to your child's SORA account to access even more digital eBooks as well!


Details: Registration ends at 9:00 a.m. the morning of the program. A Zoom link will be sent to participants morning of the program.
