Women Mean Business: An Entrepreneur Empowerment Series

Are you a female entrepreneur, a woman interested in turning a passion into lucrative income, or interested in ways to level up your business? If you answered yes to any of those questions, these workshops are for you. Meet and learn from top women business owners in Charlotte and experts in the business industry helping women succeed in business. Gain expert advice, tips, and resources to take your business to the next level. Some sessions will be informative workshops about entrepreneur resources and book discussions that explore business topics led by library staff. This series is for all women business owners eager to expand their businesses, women interested in starting a business, and career-driven women looking to improve their skillset before entirely leaping into entrepreneurship. 

Upcoming Workshop Details: 

If you are still working your 9-5 to fund your side business, this workshop is for you. The skills you learn on the job are transferable and will help you on your journey to becoming a full-time entrepreneur. In this workshop, you will discover that having a solid professional brand and a well-thought-out career story can open many opportunities, especially when pursuing your next job. This workshop teaches you how to position your career story compellingly, improve your online presence, and build a solid network. Plus, you’ll know how to answer the common interview question “tell me about yourself” to make a solid first impression in your interviews.
This Google workshop series, titled, Build Your Professional Brand, will be led by Enovia Bedford, founder of Vett Deck, a multicultural marketing agency.
