Do you want to help the Library with improving lives and building a stronger community? Join us for a unique service project where you can earn virtual community service hours, while also giving back to the city of Charlotte.
During this program, we will first be assisting the library with various tasks before creating thank you cards for activ duty service members through the organization, A Million Thanks.
This program will be provided by Mountain Island Library staff, and is recommended for teens ages 12 to 18.
Information about College & Career Connections
Our College & Career Connections program is designed with YOU in mind. This includes free programs and workshops by experts in the field with topics ranging from financial aid to applications, admissions essays, and even services such as free SAT and ACT practice tests offered by The Princeton Review. In addition, we have a brand-new road map to help you answer three very important questions – Who am I? What do I want to do? and How will I get there? For more details, check out our page here.
