Join us on the second Thursday every other month at 6:00 PM for the Audiobook Book Club (ABC Club). Want to join a book club but don't have the time/don't like to read? How about trying audiobooks! Whether it is listening on your drive to and from work, during your workout, while you do chores, or just relaxing at home audiobooks are the way to multitask and get reading in. Busy schedules can't stand in the way of reading and making friends at a book club! Pick up a copy of the bimonthly selection & register for the program.

July's audiobook selection will be American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

The storm was coming... For the three years Shadow spent in prison, all he wanted was to get back to the loving arms of his wife and stay out of trouble for the rest of his life. But days before his release, he learns that his wife has been killed in an accident, and his world becomes a colder place. On the plane ride home to the funeral, Shadow meets a man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday, a self-declared grifter, who offers Shadow a job. Shadow, a man with nothing to lose, accepts.

Looking for the book? Check out our bi-monthly selections here and place a hold on the upcoming title. American Gods. A few titles from the list are available through Hoopla to allow for everyone instant access to the digital download and there are some that are available on CD's. Some are only on Overdrive/Libby which does require some forethought on putting them on hold for future use.
