Surabhi Kaushik
- Words have always been her best friend, allowing her to find comfort and joy in playing the role of a copywriter, storyteller, poet, or essayist, not necessarily in that order. After moving from India to the United States in 2015, she has been volunteering with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, where she uses her talent to create and facilitate several writing programs to help build a strong, supportive writing community. In 2020, she was awarded the North Carolina Governor’s Award for Volunteer Service.
