Women's Health in the Second Half of Life: Perimenopause/Menopause 101

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Description

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is excited to present a new limited programming series, Women’s Health in the Second Half of Life.

Did you know that in the United States 2 million women enter menopause every year? A major life change, not talked about nearly enough, menopause marks a significant transition in a woman's life, encompassing various physical, emotional, and hormonal changes. It is not just hot flashes! Join us for a physician-led discussion with Allison Ring, MD of Novant Health as she introduces the topic of menopause and empowers individuals with the necessary knowledge to successfully navigate this complicated phase of life.

Presented in partnership with Novant Health

Allison Ring, MD

Follow up Discussion:

Join us for a physician-led follow up discussion as we welcome back presenters from both Perimenopause/Menopause 101 and Nutrition as Medicine to answer all your questions. All attendees are invited to register for Women’s Health in the Second Half of Life: Community Discussion on June 24th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Can't attend the program? No problem! Each topic-based program in our Women’s Health series will be recorded and will remain available to registered participants through the start of the scheduled Community Discussion program on June 24th.
