Teen Writing Circle

2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Independence Regional Library

Description

Description

Writers of all experience and skill levels are encouraged to join this group to share work, exchange ideas and feedback, and meet other local amateur writers.

This program will be provided by Independence Regional library staff, and is recommended for teens ages 12 to 18.

Information about this Group

We meet every other Monday from 2:30-3:30 pm, starting Monday, September 9, 2024. We will meet outside on the front lawn as long as the weather permits. This is a drop-in program, so no need to register in advance.

This group is a chill, creative, and supportive community of writers of all levels. Whether you're working on a novel, or you haven't written in years, this is the place for you.

The first half of our meetup is usually a low-stakes skill-building activity. The second half will be time to work on individual projects. You will have the opportunity to share your writing with others for feedback if you'd like (totally optional).
