Come join us to celebrate Freedom to Read Week and (belatedly) Hobbit Day! We'll enjoy breakfast foods together while reading passages from J.R.R. Tolkien's banned book, The Hobbit. Celebrate your intellectual freedom to read as you please, eat, drink, and be merry.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their hobbit-y, Middle Earth, or fantasy attire for the event.
Coffee, tea, donuts, and other breakfast foods will be provided. Bring your own copy of The Hobbit or books from the Lord of the Rings series to read aloud from, or borrow one of ours.
This program is for teens ages 12-18 and will take place in the Davidson hobbit hole Community Room.
