Explore the Arts with Central Fine Arts: Rhythm on Buckets: Percussion Fun

Description

Join in on exploring the performance and visual arts at the library! Programs presented by Central Fine Arts teachers.

In this 1-hour percussion lesson, students will be introduced to the basics of rhythm using bucket drums. The class will explore fundamental drumming patterns, focusing on rhythm, beat, and timing. Using Rap a Tap Tap as inspiration, students will connect the concept of rhythm in music to the rhythms found in movement, dance, and everyday life.

Program is for ages 6 to 10 years old. Registration required. 

This program is part of a series with Central Fine Arts. If you are interested in the other sessions (information available here), please complete the additional applicable registrations. Registration opens 1 month prior to the session.
