HIP HOP 101: HOW TO WRITE A CLASSIC RAP SONG - PARTS ONE & TWO - ONLINE/IN-PERSON

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Steele Creek Library

Description

Hip Hop is one of the most popular genres in music today. Believe it or not, Hip Hop was once considered a fad, and rap music was a passing trend. But Hip Hop has stayed alive since 1973. “The Fundamentals of Rap Music” will give you a background in rap music, as a pillar of Hip Hop, from a historical perspective. Once you have built your foundation in rap music, through this course, you will be equipped with valuable tools on how to inform the development of your own rap music. This is also a good course for you if you are simply interested in learning more about the growth and development of rap music.

Please join us at the Steele Creek library with special presenter TARIK KILEY!

Tarik has THREE areas of focus: teaching, music production, and promoting live shows.
