ImaginOn Super Saturday

Once a month, Children's Theatre of Charlotte and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library celebrate our partnership by offering a free Super Saturday to our patrons.

On this Saturday, with a nod towards Cat in the Hat, we are celebrating Dr. Suess and Kites!  Of course we start our day with a themed Family Storytime at 10:30a and then from 11am- 2p put your own pattern on a make-and-take kite kit*. We are also happy to partner with The Wings Across Carolinas Kiting and Okra Society who will be on hand with some special, professional kites on display.  Then at 2pm our Story Explorers program will host Book Start Art.  You'll join ImaginOn Library staff who'll read Dr. Seuss's The Lorax and then create colorful tree art inspired by the book!
