Nov 03, 2016 A disgraced head Chef from a once two-star Michelin French restaurant aimed to revive his career in London with the help from his old crew and a talented local sous chef. IMHO, there are many better chef/restaurant films such…

I didn't think it was a good movie. Too much temper tantrums. By that age you have to have a clue your doing something wrong.

Kudos to Cooper for putting his all into his role. Watching people throw hissey fits and temper tantrums over and over is not my idea of a good movie. I'm a home cook. However, I understand perfectionism. I don't throw a conniption when a…

Mixed feelings on this Cooper is a great actor, so are the real chefs. They are not all like Ramsey. I am a french chef, when it's be pull together. All humans have problems they must deal with. Where they attempting to aim for a life…

I can choose never to watch any film associated with the Weinstein Company. I so choose!! #metoo Kristi & Abby Tabby

Is it possible that cooking could ever be about anything beyond Michelin stars and big egos? Just another take on the loud-mouthed megalo-chef, with too few redeeming twists to make the story worth caring about.

OK. It's true. A lot of movies about chefs are rather similar. In fact, when I ordered this I thought, "Have I already seen this?". Literally. I'm glad I chose to find out by actually watching the movie. It was very satisfying. I…

A great ensemble piece. A chef does not do it alone. It takes a team, a brigade which becomes a family. Perfectly cast, well directed. Enjoy! Highly recommend.

For me, this film was "an excellent meal" ... smart, funny, intense and made an important point: no one, including the best and brightest, can succeed without the positive support of others.

Fairly predictable and formulaic but the performances are good and it's an overall enjoyable watch.

I had never heard of this movie with Bradley Cooper, so was really glad that I checked it out. The movie provided great insight into what it takes to be a 3-star Michelin chef, and Bradley Cooper was, as always, so enjoyable to watch!

I first watched Burnt on Netflix and really liked it! I think Bradley Cooper and the supporting actresses & actors in this film make the storyline very engaging, which is why I didn't hesitate to borrow the DVD from the library.

Burnt is a fabulous movie although other may disagree. Burnt depicts the competitive European world of French gourment cooking. Thechef is question could described as an "enfant horrible". This movie is somewhat sophisticated & not for…

Bradley Cooper doesn't quite imbue this role with the truthfulness needed for an addict to overcome his selfishness. For example, he deliberately coerces Helene into working for him, not particularly kind nor gracious. I don't doubt the…

A kind of predictable story about a rock star chef who burns himself out with his excessive self destructive behaviors and now is looking for redemption in one of his old business partner's restaurants in London. I think that Bradley…

Not bad, but I've seen far better "food" movies.

This movie has it's detractors and only got middling reviews from the critics, so I was surprised when it sucked me into the plot and entertained for a couple of hours. Watching Bradley Cooper manipulate his sous chef's and owner into…

An OK film but rather predictable so not that interesting or revealing. Maybe just an excuse to make a movie with a popular actor. Not sure if I believe all the chef stuff - I guess I would have to be able to see what goes on in a high end…

The beginning is boring but it becomes a bit more interesting towards the end. Couldn't give it more than one star because it dragged through more than half of the story. So much bad temper and swearing. It doesn't take a lot of talent to…

I am amazed at the other reviewers' low attention span. This movie is not boring if you follow the premise. I thought it did a great job recreating the tension in a restaurant kitchen (like the movie Chef). Definitely an attractive…

So boring. I couldn't finish it. Maybe it's for those kind of people who like to photograph their food at restaurants...?
