A succesful menage-a-trois as a comic book writers fantasy women comes true much to the disgust of his/her conservative neighbors. Kink-Sex : GREAT in my book although the intention should really be procreation only. Reminds me of some…
I rarely shut off a film, but this was cheap TV crap to my eyes. Makes a mockery of the historical figure I had been hoping to see a balanced documentary about. Seemed like some kind of Henry Miller fantasy done in a pay TV dramatic way.

Professor Marston is portrayed as an progressive philosopher with modern ideas. Although appalled by his wife's initially crude behavior I liked how she became torn with the triangular love affair with his student and second wife, and how…

Written and directed by Angela Robinson in 2017, this American docudrama delves into a threesome relationship.
Superb are the performances of Luke Evans as William Moulton Marston, Rebecca Hall as Elizabeth Holloway Marston, and Bella…

I have to admit I didn't find the story, which is based on facts, to be very engaging. Overall it is a decent drama and you will need an open mind to digest it. Worth a watch, but not a great film for me.

Mildly interesting true story of college Professor Marston who is married to a "modern" woman and they add a young college woman to their home as they realize they are both in love with her. These new ideas, mid-20th century, induce the…

I gave this 4 stars (vs more) only because it resonated with a theory (DISC) that I wish had been comparitively discussed in the special features WITH a few OTHER theories about giving and recieving in relationships, as well as in social…

I found this to be a very touching film, looking at three people that loved each other, and raised a family facing the backlash of societies rules and normalization of their times. The film is well directed, displaying empathy for this…

I agree with Michael Taggart Maloney's comments. Also, couldn't understand why the protagonist/narrator was a man when the movie was centred around strong women of the day. Would have been much more interesting told from the women's…

This movie is very very good, beautifully acted, and interesting. I first noticed it because it stars Rebecca Hall who is always brilliant. Bella Heathcote is amazing, as well as beautiful. At the end the movie shows you photos of the real…

One of the movies I will remember for years to come--It's that unusual and that good.
Based on a real story, it's the stranger-than-fact tale of, among other things, the creation of the superhero (or super heroine) Wonder Woman. The…

Why do stories about women always end up being about a man? Two women want to be together but one's husband has to muscle his way in even though one of the women has made it very clear (under a lie detector) that she wants nothing to do…

Marston's DISC theory is interesting, as is his career in the World War Two era comic-book industry, but sadly the film mostly devotes itself to shopworn menage a trois eroticism. It is a snoozer.

Entertaining film about the renaissance man (lawyer, inventor, psychologist and writer) and his two women whose idea created the comic character Wonder Woman in 1941.
Suggest to read the 16 year old short article below which adds…
The original Wonder Woman comics were burnt because they featured bondage (her lasso) and other naughty activities such as spanking (Tom of Finland was luckier). While Wonder Woman was directed by a white woman, starring ex-Miss Israel…

WOW! I was expecting nothing and this turned out to be a GREAT movie. This is a true and interesting look into the creator(s) of Wonder Woman that is almost too weird to believe. Excellent writing and cast.

I have to say this movie was truly amazing!! Not only did it tell you the history of wonder women and how it was very risky back then. How that iconic character has just gotten bigger and better over the years. I also loved the story line!…

Interesting back story about the comic Wonder Woman, that I’ve never read, and the people involved in it’s creation. Certainly an interesting life style at the time for two women and Professor Marston's choice of a blended family. Dr.…
