This is one of my favorite books and authors. This book holds some great knowledge about healing, generational ties, the immigrant experience and the lived experience of women. A must read.

This novel was written beautifully & very hard to put down. The characters felt so real that I even cried while reading a couple of chapters. Highly recommend this book!

Oprah Winfrey collection. This cultural book depicts the life of a woman in search of her true self and the obstacles she endure to get there.
