Precious little fox, Fletcher loves his tree. But this is his first fall, and he doesn't understand why the leaves keep falling! Though the story is longish, it's great for a cuddle and a read with a loved one.

Was Fletcher's mother really that oblivious to his distress, or was she aware of it and just not care? Either way, that is some pretty abusive parenting shown in this book. Why did she not just talk to him about autumn and how trees lose their leaves in the fall?

Tender, gentle, sweet Fletcher is worried about the changes around him and cares for the leaves on one tree in particular. Illustrated in beautiful pastels with a wonderful surprise at the end.
