La Toya Jackson was always closer to Michael than anyone knew. In this heartfelt memoir, she pays tribute to his tortured soul, revealing the intimate moments she shared with the deeply troubled pop legend. The first sibling to arrive at the hospital after Michael was rushed there, and the informant on his death certificate, La Toya noticed suspicious details and demanded a second autopsy. For the first time, she unveils shocking behind-the-scenes dealings that she believes led to her brother's death, and she provides unprecedented insight into the destruction of one of the most dynamic artist/performers in history.

Like the rest of the world I have been a fan of Michael my whole life. Michael's talent and love for all people was a gift from God that has yet to be matched. I felt that connection while reading this, which is a credit to LaToya. She has that same light that draws you close, none other than LaToya - aka Toy, aka The Voice of Reason, aka Officer Jackson If You Nasty. Let's just start with the photo of LaToya on the inside jacket. AMAZING! One of the best photos of her showing that undeniable family resemblance (Rebbie, LaToya and Janet could be triplets). Now the book. I couldn't put it down. I knew about the abuse LaToya survived but I did not know how diabolical the situation really was. LaToya has been through it all and deserves to be celebrated. I decided I would not read her first book since she stated that was a total manipulation. She goes into her time in Europe when everyone speculated there was a feud in the family. Then LaToya details the final months with Michael and I fully believed Michael was murdered. LaToya comes with receipts and raises excellent questions and theories about Michael's death and the investigation. It's a shame that the greatest entertainer in the world couldn't enjoy his gift, his life and his children because of the greed, evil and callous disregard that plagues the entertainment industry. But when you are a billion dollar business everybody thinks they are entitled to a piece. Shame on those who took advantage of Michael. Thank you to LaToya for sharing her story and her undying love for her brother. RIP to the King

I'm one of the biggest Michael Jackson fan's ever and I liked some of Latoya's music as well and she was always beautiful and sweet and after reading this book you see why she was forced to do things she never wanted to do also the Michael information is shocking about his death a must read !
