For all five of those who saw the first one and said "More Larry the Cable Guy! Less Owen Wilson!" And that's what you get, a whole lotta Mater. There's always an awkward James Bond plot, but at least Michael Caine voices a spy car. Not Pixar's best work.

Great movie, shows adventures around the world.

As another reviewer once said, "I appreciate a movie that tries something new but fails more than a boring one that is just okay"

As lousy as the humor and comic relief is here, it is at least an interesting concept that is pretty to watch. Again, don't think too hard about the rules of this world, because it makes even less sense than the original movie. Also, surprisingly gritty for a Disney/Pixar movie because there are a handful of 'deaths' that are shown that would immediately make this rated R, if they weren't cars. And yet, the fact they're sentient, still makes it feel a little terrible for me.

I barrowed this movie before well my little brother did it in 2011 and it was a really good movie my little costin tommy has this movie he got it for christmas back in 2011 i remember telling my costion Angelica that i am going to watch this movie soon my brother put a hold on this movie scine we watched the frist movie my brother wanted to put a hold on this movie and i told her that we have it at home we will watch it soon they also put it on t.v sometimes we watched it on CBC Sundays just to watch it agaian .

Great sequel! 1/2 star off because the guns may or may not have been necessary. Again, love Larry the Cable Guy.

if you compare Cars 2 to Cars 1, Cars 2 is a looser. Will return early so someone else can watch it.

I liked this cartoon DVD. It is good for all ages. The story was strong. It has a morale story in the script.

SAPPHIREBEAR15 Jun 26, 2012

Four-time Piston Cup champion race car Lightning McQueen returns home to Radiator Springs and reunites with his best friend Mater and girlfriend Sally Carrera. Doc Hudson is revealed to have died by an indication with Mater and Lightning. Former oil tycoon Miles Axlerod, now a green power advocate, announces a racing series called the "World Grand Prix" to promote Allinol biofuel. When Italian formula race car Francesco Bernoulli challenges McQueen, McQueen and Mater depart to Tokyo, Japan for the Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, the lemons, led by Professor Zündapp and Master mind (whose whereabouts are revealed at the climax), secretly plot to secure their oil profits by using a weapon disguised as a television camera to ignite the Allinol fuel. McMissile and partner Holley Shiftwell attempt to rendezvous with American spy car Rod "Torque" Redline at a World Grand Prix promotional event in Tokyo to receive information about the mastermind; however, Redline is cornered by Zündapp's henchmen and passes his information to Mater before he is captured. Shiftwell and McMissile mistake Mater as their American contact. In capture, Zündapp reveals to Torque that Allinol has one fatal flaw: it can ignite if impacted by a high electromagnetic pulse and uses both to kill him with it but not before they realize that he passed it on to Mater.
