Parker has a very good take on the character, who's benefited from attention in recent years. Aquaman and Mera try to discover why Atlantis itself appears to be rejecting its king, and the path leads them to long buried secrets and an encounter with an adversary more in keeping with the Flash's world. The story moves along smoothly throughout.
