Gorgeously filmed documentary of a 13-yr old girl who breaks the glass ceiling on falconry (with a golden eagle) in the Kazakh portion of Mongolia. Highly recommended!

Downright wonderful inspiring and uplifting tale. Views of the natural world are stunning.

The Eagle Huntress is disarmingly likable. It's a poignant, yet simple, story of female empowerment, family, culture, and nature. Watching monster hawks soar through the Mongolian Steppes make it worth it alone. Daisy Ridley provides apt, low-key narration. There aren't many moments of tension, but that doesn't detract from a unique, enjoyable documentary.

Choose to watch the film with the Director's commentary. It tells lot of story from behind the scene. I recommend it to all. Good production!

Truly a film for any age of viewer. Magnificent panoramas of least populated place on earth. Girl has a winning smile and seems older than her 13 years. Story maintains a steady pace, never bogging down. You may want to watch it twice - once reading the subtitles, and once just taking in the beautiful optics of people's faces, clothes, possessions, and nature. Almost forgot to mention, the eagle of the story is MAGNIFICENT!
Even though this film is in the library's juvenile collection, and is appropriate for viewing by those of young ages, it was recommending to me by a 70-something, and my wife and I (two 60-somethings) enjoyed the film immensely. Very highly recommended.
