Dupuytren's contracture is a slowly developing hand deformity that affects the connective tissue under the skin of the palm. In many cases the fingers affected by the disease can't be straightened, and that can make even simple things like shaking hands, putting your hands in your pockets, or putting on gloves very difficult. But there are treatments that can help people with Dupuytren's get the use of their hands back. This program introduces patients who developed this deformity and shows how the condition can be successfully treated.
