A source of endless power, nuclear fusion is the force at the heart of the sun. If it can be harnessed, it could herald an unlimited supply of cheap energy. For 40 years scientists have tried to find this holy grail. American scientist Rusi Taleyarkhanv has created a controversy by claiming to have found a way to make nuclear fusion in the lab - using sound waves. This program features an exclusive experiment that accurately replicated Taleyarkahn's procedures. However, precision testing revealed that nuclear fusion had not occurred. Although Taleyarkahn stands by his claims, the scientific community remains doubtful.
