The Great Kat: an English-born, New York-raised guitar legend known for her thrash metal interpretations of classical music. Educated at Juilliard School of Music, she's recorded albums such as Beethoven on Speed, Worship Me or Die, Bloody Vivaldi, Wagner's War, Guitar Goddess, Rossini's Rape, and Total Insanity. This intense program features videos of The Great Kat as she shreds through some of the fastest and most challenging pieces, including: Beethoven's "5th Symphony," the world's most famous symphony; "The Flight of the Bumble-Bee" at the finger-bleeding speed of 300 beats per minute; Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto #3," played on six guitars; Paganini's "Caprice #24," a technically-demanding virtuoso showpiece on guitar and violin; "Torture Techniques," an arsenal of Kat torture devices and abused victims; exclusive Kat shred photos; and a crazy Kat Kartoon of the High Priestess of Guitar Shred herself!
