Willie And The Poor BoysStreaming Video - 2013
Willie and the Poor Boys was formed in 1984, when Bill Wyman got together with a group of well-known musicians to record an album to help the Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS. That brilliant album lineup included Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Kenney Jones, Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, Chris Rea, Andy Fairweather Low, Geraint Watkins, Mickey Gee, and Henry Spinetti. On March 11 and 12 of 1985, the core members of the band and additional guest stars turned up at the Fulham Town Hall, London, to make this film of Willie and the Poor Boys-with the participation of members of the Rolling Stones and The Beatles, marking this a rare and historic rock 'n' roll moment. Discovered in Bill Wyman's personal archive, this concert film and documentary has been digitally remastered.
