The Samjautha Express - or the Friendship Express - connects two age-old enemies: Pakistan and India. As the train travels from Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, and Taftan, we meet people who want a liberal society free of intolerant fundamentalist views. The train conductor provides a fine example as he explains that the rails should connect everybody world wide because we are all sons of Adam, and nobody is superior to the other. Part of the series In 80 Trains Around the World .
