Ruby Redfort has basically been the series that has accompanied me through elementary school all the way to where I am now. By the time anyone reads this review I know the 6th or 5th? as well as a FINAL book will have been published and this series will be completely over. But I just want to say that I strongly recommend this read to anyone, absolutely ANYONE. You don't need to like mystery and I don't care if it's a kids book. It is some pretty amazing writing. I leave you with that then, what are you even waiting for? Enter the world of Ruby and her best friend now. I command it. The first book is "Look Into My Eyes", you can thank me later.

Aside from quite a bit of recapping of events thus far (slightly annoying but probably necessary) this is a fairly solid entry in the Ruby Redfort files. Though you might also have to set aside the (slightly annoying) set-up for the last book. Ok, not the best in the series, but I really enjoyed the conversations between Ruby and friends, Ruby and her parents, Ruby and Hitch; & many excellent lines are saved for Mrs Digby, as they should be.
