Jon Baker and Frank Ponch Poncherello have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a beaten-up former pro motorbiker trying to put his life and marriage back together. Poncherello is a cocky undercover Federal agent investigating a multi-million-dollar heist that may be an inside job-inside the CHP.

Add a Commentwhat a terrible film!! The original series is head and shoulders above this one. Poor story... who am I kidding ?! NO story worth speaking of, the acting if it could be called that was appalling. Ugh.
Dax Shepard ruined this film. What a bad director, bad (and I use the term loosely in his case) actor. Did his Dad own the studio? Surrounded by good actors with a bad script, yes you guessed it written by Dax Shepard. Yes, he had more money than brains, he thinks that he wrote a comedy but it is a tragedy. Skip it.
agreed
too much swearing , very disappointed , total trash!
Disappointing, lewd, crude, vulgar and to many "F" bombs. Stunt men on bikes real daredevils.
Didn't expect much, but was blown away. Hilarious!
Less raunchy and more realistic than his other grown up buddy comedy War on Everyone (2016) film, Peña was not a corrupted cop but a cocky undercover FBI agent in sunny LA. An enjoyable oldie soundtrack from Tupac, Dolly Parton, 4 Tops, Aretha Franklin ... to Black Sabbath and Santana.
I can't see how this is considered a comedy. If you love horrible, gross college boy humor this is the movie for you. If you like REAL comedy, skip this one.
Not a bad movie. I don't agree with the negative comments here. Dax is always entertaining and the bike stunts were great. I cant believe anyone would be offended by the humour given todays society. Im sensitive and in my Golden years and I thought it was funny, but then again I have a sense of humour and watch these types of films when I want to see senseless humour instead of depressing news (Trump etc.) and horrific killings (van-ramming). The world needs more humour of every kind.
Total disappointment.. Can't believe I wasted 2 hours of my life on this
