I immensely enjoyed each of the characters in this book. Brenda Novak brings them to life, and breaks the stereotypes we have come to expect. There is mystery, heartbreak and true meaningful love that comes out of less than desirable circumstances initially for each. It is so engrossing that I sat and read most of the day yesterday to reach the conclusion---which came with unfolding mystery. I really cared about these characters, and the character expressed by each. I highly recommend this book.
