This is such an uplifting and inspiring story. The book is very well written, I couldn't put it down. I'm only sorry that I got through it so fast!

"Warren St. John, a reporter for The New York Times, recounts the efforts of an unlikely soccer coach, Jordanian-born and Smith College-educated Luma Mufleh, to transform a group of refugee kids from war-torn parts of the globe into tight-knit soccer teams. The small town of Clarkston, Georgia at first resists the idea that the children could play soccer on their unused baseball field as it tries to adjust to the sudden influx of foreigners in need of help, but Mufleh and her teams eventually prevail."
