Good Morning Yoga is more that a yoga picture book. It also introduces children to some basic fundamentals of a beginning yoga practice. There are warm-up movements to begin the practice, simple descriptions of each pose, an illustration of the entire flow, complete with a visualization exercise at the end of the practice. The book can be incorporated into a children's yoga practice in two ways: either with descriptions of each pose, or as a simple word and movement flow. The bright illustrations are visual instructions and also speak to a child's imagination, encouraging the practice of creative visualization, an essential part of any mind/body practice.
