This book is great. It's a bit like the ends of the books with the character biographies and recipes, and letters, except with way more pictures, (full color)
Although I was a bit bored by some parts of it because I've read the whole series, it was still very fun read.

Mostly this consisted of paphlets by Silas Heap, and Sirius Weazel, it also contained biographies and maps, and also some pages of food criticism by the egg on toast restraunt guide.

It was a very, very peculiliarly interesting read. The basic layout was this. A Biography, a journal entry, and then random riffraff.

I said before that I skimmed some parts because I read them in the books, but in the very back there are letters that I wouldn't've understood had I not read the back of the books.

Recommend to anyone who likes to flip to the back section and read the biographies, or just anyone who's looking for a bit more Magyk.

This book is not meant to be another adventure in the series of Septimus Heap. It is an encyclopaedia of all the things in the world of Septimus Heap. There are maps, drawings and the like. The book is meant to expand on the actual setting of the series.

I haven't read this book in the series yet. Is it like some kind of encyclopedia or something?
