This book is about three boys, Sam, the class clown, Duke, the intellectual, and Chollie(Charles) the athletic one, are fighting over a girl named Miranda Mullaly. The bad news is that Miranda already has a boyfriend name Tom. The boys notice her before Christmas in biology class. Luckily, Charles has her for a science project, but sill and yet neither the three boys has won her heart. They only have two more chances to have her. During the Valentine's dance, but she didn't come, so that leaves the boys one more chance left. The play. Charles again, is lucky because Ralph broke his leg and can't do the "Heat" dance with Miranda and Sam, so Charles took the spot. Before the play, Tom broke up with Miranda, so it is either Sam or Charles to win the spot on her heart. After the play, Charles eventually won the game and took the spot.
This book is good, but I think there is supposed to be more adventure in it.
