Is this Artemis fowl’s Last stand?Artemis Fowl’s archenemy Opal Koboi has masterminded a way to simultaneously secure her release from prison and bring the human and fairy worlds to their knees. And, unless Artemis can stop her, the evil pixie’s next move will destroy all human life on earth. Ground zero is the Fowl Estate, where Opal has reanimated fairy warriors who were buried there thousands of years ago. Their spirits have possessed any vessels they can find—corpses, Artemis’s little brothers, assorted wildlife—and they are bound to obey Opal’s every command. Defeating the motley troops and their diabolical leader will require all of Artemis’s cleverness—as well as Butler’s bravery, Holly’s skill, and Foaly’s gadgetry. But if their best efforts aren’t enough, Armageddon will surely follow. New York Times best-selling author and comic genius Eoin Colfer will leave Artemis Fowl fans gasping up to the very end of this thrilling finale to the blockbuster series.

This is a great book series! Great play on a techy fairy world! The novels are great and the person who narrates the series does a wonderful job!
You can also get graphic novels.

Alluring, is the perfect word to describe Artemis Fowl. The vulnerable characters and realistic relationships are easy to relate to and sympathize with. The descriptive scenery creates an exquisite mental image. Along with the twists of the plot, Artemis Fowl is quite an enjoyable book. This book stimulated every crack and crevice in my imagination. Eoin Colfer has such a different take on old myths and legends, it’s refreshing. I have never read a book quite like Artemis Fowl. I would recommend this book to those who seek adventure. No matter what age, adventure will lure anyone who craves it.

In the book Artemis Fowl, Artemis is an arrogant, rich genius. And what does one do when one is so well off? Become a criminal mastermind of course. This story is situated in an alternate universe where old legends are truths just beyond the reaches of modern day life. Artemis has always been able to outwit anyone and anything in his past. With him being only twelve, this is quite the feat. So when Artemis finds that fairies are in fact real, trouble starts brewing in the peaceful lands of Ireland. Even Artemis doesn't realize how vicious folktale creatures can be. His goal to capture heaps of gold is obscured by the hardships of battling mystical creatures, yet Artemis was never one to back away from a challenge. The peaceful region of Ireland is completely oblivious to the chaos inside the Fowl Manor. The spiraling adventures of this fantasy novel will be sure to engross you.
