I love this book-it’s written so that you feel like Pearson (the author) is sitting across the table just telling you this story. I have not seen the movie, but only hope it is half as good as the book. The story is as old as time-lots of money and crazy people! There is a family tree in the front of the book-a very helpful touch to which I referred frequently as I was reading the story as there are lots of people to track and some with the same name. Pearson has written several other non-fiction books, but only one or two are available at JoCo LIbrary - what shame! Maybe I can get the ones I’d like to read on interlibrary loan!
