A little girl finds a lost duckling and the two become fast friends. Unfortunately she learns sometimes love is letting go even it means you'll miss them.

I would place this book on the same shelf with Cori Doerrfeld's "The Rabbit Listened."

Like that wonderful and evocative book, "Love Is" has a young child and a small animal at its center; another poignant, beautifully illustrated poem-story that teaches as it touches the heart.

A wonderful picture book with enchanting pictures that tugged at my heart.
