Excellent resource book for introverts and those who love them. Although written in a Christian context, there is plenty to identify with for everyone. The author addresses issues which are difficult for many to articulate, such as healing the relational wounds so common to introverts, and how to establish real community with others.

In all walks of life, introverts tend to be marginalized and overlooked in favor of more sociable, outgoing types. It is especially frustrating when a less qualified person is elevated to a position of responsibility and/or visibility, simply on the merits of their outward behavior. You'll find this problem in our churches, as well. We claim to value all personality types and spiritual gifts mixes as uniquely bestowed by God, yet the discrimination is there. It would be great if all church leaders would read this book.
