Rose Marie's rise to fame began at the age of four with her own NBC radio show. As she grew, she went from the stages of Vaudeville to the bright lights of Vegas, to some of the most iconic television shows. But it's not just credits like The Dick Van Dyke Show and Hollywood Squares that make her life so memorable. Characters like Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel, and Jerry Lewis all played a part in this woman's story of fame, love, tragedy, and success. A woman's ninety-year career is also the greatest untold story in Show Business.

Excellent documentary. Over her 90 year career in showbiz, she started working at 3 years old as a singer on radio during the silent picture era and her last job was doing voice over work on a computer animated Garfield cartoon. Lots of interesting stories including her links to the mob.

Excellent. Never would have know about this DVD had it not been for dashboard. She was a real work horse, never stopped entertaining us all. Worth watching again with the interviews of many famous actors, directors. Interesting connection with Al Capone and the mob. Rest in peace Rose Marie, a real trouper.

You may remember Rose Marie from The Dick Van Dyke Show or Hollywood Squares, but did you know she was a child superstar, performing since she was 3-years old? This is a well made documentary about a talented, fascinating, and funny lady. Highly recommended.

Rose Marie had an astonishingly long career from being on the radio and vaudeville stage as a child to The Dick Van Dyke show and voiceovers late in her career. She recounts tales of early Las Vegas (and the mob), the early days of tv and of course, the DVD show. A very
driven actress/singer who is often not likable but always interesting. The history of 20th century entertainment through the lens of performer who needs an audience like she needs oxygen.

Rose Marie lived a surprisingly interesting life. All work and not much play, but met some interesting people along the way.
