This picturebook is simply thrilling, all aspects of it -- the art, and the suspenseful true-to-nature story, and the nature science.
The book is so much more than a "cute" animal story.

What a great start for my granddaughter's science education.

I feel I gained a gut understanding of the interrelationships between the mongoose, humans, and cobras.
