This silly tongue twister always get both kids and parents laughing. I only did half of it in toddler storytime so I wouldn't lose their attention, but the preschoolers were interested in the whole book.

Add a CommentI very much enjoyed reading Fox in Socks, by Dr. Seuss! I thought that it was both very fun and engaging, which makes it a great book for kids! I love the rhyming, and think that that definitely makes learning how to read a lot more fun! I thought that the book was very cleverly written, and loved the colourful illustrations! I think that the goofy concepts in the book will be very intriguing to younger readers, as well! I would definitely recommend this story to other readers, especially younger audiences, as it is a very simple, but cute story! @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
This is such a fun tounge twister book to try to read! My one year old is always entertained.
This is in my top 5 Dr Seuss books. It MUST be read out loud, preferably to other people, and as fast as you can without stumbling. You think you're there but when Luke's duck licks lakes...
It's an excellent tongue twister, and great fun. Cool pictures. Most excellent.
Normally I wouldn't review a Dr. Zeus (as my father-in-law calls him) book. However this one has had my number for at least 20 years. Tonight though sports fans I was finally able to pitch a no hitter, bowl a 300, I shut out Dr. Zeus and had a quarterback passer rating of 158.3. Yes I made it through this entire tongue twisting nightmare sans one mistake. Now if I could make it through the Butter Battle Book without losing all hope for humanity I'll be a happy reader indeed.

This is the first book my 5 y/o daughter read from beginning to end, with little help from me in some words. She was very satisfied that she was able to read her first book!.
Too difficult for my 3 y/o to understand. It's all about the rhyming...
I'm thirteen, and this still after all these years, and I'm now reading 700 page books, Theodore Seuss Giesel (hehehe) still happens to be my ultimate fav. author, & THIS BOOK IS STILL MY FAVOURITE BOOK EVER!!!
Always a good time reading this book.
This is a fun book to read to your child and to challenge yourself.
