Totally bizarre movie, but still interesting.
It has David Bowie and muppets, what's not to love!?
I loved this when it came out. Being a few years younger than the main character at the time made it highly relatable. It's basically a coming of age story. Even rewatching it I get so much out of the storyline that I didn't pick up on as a kid. If you haven't seen it before, the puppets and early CGI probably will disappoint you. I still love the songs and I even named my cat Jareth after David Bowie's character.
I just wrote a big huge comment that was at least 2 pages long with quotes and everything and I lost it somehow and I'm not rewriting it. All in all, it was very good I give it 5/5. ^_^
One of the key movies of my childhood, this film was ahead of it's time in practical effects. Charming and funny, I am not surprised that it has endured as it has.
This is a great movie with fantastic puppets. Be sure to view the extra features!
I can see how this becomes a cult classic. Pretty amazing, technically, though, the soundtrack doesn't hold up as well. But that's maybe just me. Overall, this is a really fun watch. Reminds me why I still miss Jim.
it an AWESOME movie!!!!
I especially like the goblin king or Jareth.
"Labyrinth" is by far one of my favourite movies. If you are looking for a good movie to watch, this is the one.
"Labyrinth" is a slice of that seventies show, even though it was released in the eighties... but in defense , I really feel everyone should give this fantasy flick a chance. david bowie and the young gal, jennifer connelly, really put there hearts into this thing. Enjoy
