This book gives you a quick one-week snapshot into two student's life. Joe is a boy that simply has problems processing sound. Ravi is an Indian boy struggling to adjust. It was very clever because you got to see two sides of the same situations in class. I love seeing how the boys interacted with their families and talked to them about their difficulties. Easy quick read that any immigrant student would dive into and relate to. It also will help students to have more empathy for ones that are different. It really hammered the point home not to assume about anyone because that's simply not fair. A good solid choice that I would highly recommend for 3rd 4th and 5th grade.
