This is not a book to read at the beach, Busy plot, multiple subplots and characters: A mixture of real-life (the indomitable Lee Jaffe And her vision for the World Trade Center -yes, that one) And then the fiction:the hooker with the gold heart ; blackmail, Extortion and finally murder. All characters beholden to the corporate villain, It's corrupt and vile enablers. An indigenous nation which suffers greatly; individuals who profit existentially . Disturbing, familiar and even without much humour, hard to put down. Not for everyone- Less risky for those with catholic tastes.
