I've always been facinated by dragons, pictures, figures you name it. They are beutiful. I wasn't sure what to expect. But i know i didn't want to read a story that made me feel like i was ready a kids fairy tale. That is what most of us associate dragons with, our fairy tales from childhood. Anyways, Kay who is the main character, is amazing. She is brave, courageous and most importantly, she is someone who wouldn't conform to the beliefs that have been instilled in her since she was a child. Not only by society, but also her parents who are the closest to the enforcing the rules of long ago. It takes a lot of guts to think and feel outside of that box. Because of that thinking ouside the box, alot of people in the end are affected. People are hurt, but in the end the bond is unbreakable that is created. I can't explain enough about the book but i loved feeling like i was there, and there is a sequeal, and can't wait to be back in the land of dragons.
