It was ok. Not great. Slow moving but had it's moments. Becoming a series so hopefully she'll pick up the pace. I enjoy a book that can't wait to pick up again; this isn't one of them.

Comment:

I had looked forward to the next "unsub" in the series but was somewhat disappointed. I agree on reading the two prior books to understand the characters & continuing basic story line. However, although the parallel case was very interesting, there was way too much psychological analyzing that was unnecessary to point I was skipping paragraphs & sometimes pages. The first two books were far better & this one took patience to finish.

Very good. I'm not a fan of her Lucy Kincaid series & was somewhat hesitant on reading but was pleasantly surprised. Strong characters plus an interesting storyline made for a quick read. Indications are that this will be a series & hoping that's true.

Agree on the "poor me" bit. Hard to feel sorry for someone who's sole purpose was to put a man-child in the highest position of the country. Greed could be his middle name. All the lying & manipulation caught up to him. It's a feel sorry for me book & might have held some merit if he had walked away early on exposing the corruption. Little late, Michael. Guess you can kiss your pardon goodbye

Might have given it more of a rating if was able to watch w/o constant stopping/freezing due to disk not being cleaned before I received. Didn't realize that was the problem until I struggled thru & looked at the smudges when took out of DVD.
